Ur in the end just lifting rather than say bleaching to add a more vibrant cor to ur natural sometimes with box u would use bleach then apply for this purpose same type deal only it's the developer doing it much easier and kinder to ur hair in generally but u adjust the dev # up or down based on how much u need to bleach for a box dye example but here it's dev that's trying to lighten u so med brown I use 60 and it's not healthy for ur hair by no means just a bit better compared to bleach I think my hair feels diff not as fried to b extreme a bit oversggrrsted but u get the point hopefully. I was terrified to start mixing a bunch of crap it took years for me to trust myself with just box dyes I was super intimidated but that's it that's all it truly is plus they got all sorts of fun chick stuff in there u can get lost for days their app is pretty easy to use never ordered from it but Amazon too has developer never tried it but they have this same Q&Asection u could just ask away anyway when I reqd ut question it reminded me of how it was early days thot if that was u maybe this would help or others ;) **Q: I used light golden brown & it was toooo dark . can i go over it with golden blond ?** A: If hair is too light, you can dye it darker. If hair has been dyed too dark, you cannot simply slap a lighter color over it and hope it will lift the darker color. At most it will add a different more reddish tone but won't truly lift. If I dye hair too dark then the only solution a lot of the time is to (a) try to lift it out right after by washing with baking soda, dish detergent, etc. or (b) vitamin C wash. Some even do a bleach bath and then re-dye. It all depends on how damaged your hair is. If I had gotten my hair too dark with this permanent dye, I don't think I would then hope that a lighter color would lift it nor that it would lift it to the right SHADE. **Q: Which light blonde colorsilk ammonia free is the lightest blonde 3, 4 or 5?** A: I buy 04 Ultra light natural blonde.
