**Q: Is the dextrose used in this product GMO?**
A: With an exact molecular definition, the source of dextrose shouldn't matter. "Dextrose: a white soluble sweet-tasting crystalline solid that is the dextrorotatory isomer of glucose, occurring widely in fruit, honey, and in the blood and tissue of animals. Formula: C6H12O6" Regardless of source, dextrose will be C6H12O6.   That's 6 atoms of Carbon, 12 atoms of Hydrogen and 6 atoms of Oxygen.  If you are concerned with "GMO's", you should contact the manufacturer directly.

**Q: Is it fine ground?**
A: It is not quite as fine as regular table salt, but it is fine enough for salt shakers, etc.

**Q: How much iodine is in this?**
A: The package does not specifically say. The ingredients are: Sea salt, Calcium silicate, Dextrose, Potassium iodine. I would suggest asking Morton directly...www.MortonSalt.com

**Q: Why does this salt have dextrose in it? Does all salt have de froze in them? I thought sea salt was all natural no additives except iodine?**
A: I didn't realize that dextrose was in there so I looked it up. The answer was to stabilize the iodine. Maybe I need to look for different product.
