I don’t mean in front of a mirror – but rather the lights are away from the head of this thing and when using it – I can see the lights unless using on the third bottom of my face. Everyone seems to claim that these lights are safe for eyes – but I do not know that and do not trust that. So, I used it once and tried all the colored lights but am disappointed as I can see the lights shining in my eyes the entire time I am using it. : (If you are used to this – or do not mind it – I guess you will be fine. Or if you close your eyes while using it – it may work.I do like that the machine is relatively easy to operate and the screen tells you exactly what mode (color) is for what and you can increase the intensity. You always have colored lights, though – no way to just have ultrasonic or heat or something. And actually, this thing has no heat anyway. So into light therapy and you may like this thing a lot.
