This is my go to vitamin C. Ascorbyl Palmitate is stored in you fat, so it isnt just passed thru your system easily like regular vitamin C, so this form of vitamin C last longer in your system. A friend sent me a link to a much more expensive version with all the explanations of what it does. It was more than I wanted to pay so I ordered this one instead since I've had good experiences with NOW brand. I took one a day for four months while traveling and didn't get sick.
