Review: Great for crawfish Étouffée - i love eating crawfish étouffée. This base mix makes a great tasting étouffée. All you need is to add crawfish. Fresh crawfish tails with fat are the best. Frozen can be used , but try to get crawfish tails from Louisiana since the usually have a better taste and usually have some fat with the tails. The fat gives the mix little nice taste. It only takes about 30-40 minutes to prepare from start to eating. Other things can be added such as chicken or shrimp. I fully recommend this for the ease of preparing and the taste.

A: The expiration date on my packages is printed on the back of the bag. I purchased mine approximatel6 months ago, and the expiration is April 2025. Hope this helps.

i love eating crawfish étouffée. This base mix makes a great tasting étouffée. All you need is to add crawfish. Fresh crawfish tails with fat are the best. Frozen can be used , but try to get crawfish tails from Louisiana since the usually have a better taste and usually have some fat with the tails. The fat gives the mix little nice taste. It only takes about 30-40 minutes to prepare from start to eating. Other things can be added such as chicken or shrimp. I fully recommend this for the ease of preparing and the taste.

I never had this before soI just know it is good as is the shrimp creole. I have had crawfish before but the frozen bag of crawfish were small and expensive. Unless you can get tail meat it is no worth using crawfish. Good thing I also used a pound of shrimp. This base takes the work out of this recipe.
