I also have enough space to place a small bowl with wet 4x4 cotton to chill for peel removal. And I make cold towels and can fit about 4 in the bottom shelf for peel removal. The smaller version was fairly full with my 6 cold rollers of varying sizes and I only had about enough space to squeeze 1-2 towels in to chill and the door didn’t lock into place so if the towels were pushing on the door it wouldn’t stay completely closed. This one had a latch on the door so you know it’s fully closed which is nice. I also prefer the gloss finish of this for cleaning purposes. The smaller one was matte and didn’t have the same clean look. The smaller one is a great size for someone to use at home to store products if they feel so inclined to do so. This one is great for a shop or if someone just wants a mini beverage fridge for their home. Review: I needed a desktop fridge for work for drinks and hopefully a small lunch. Purchased 2 different brands prior to this one and returned both because they just didn't get cold enough, were loud, and one was too small in depth and height inside. This desktop fridge is amazing, especially for the price. It gets COLD, it is quiet, and it holds a lot of items. I currently have a water bottle, a canned soda, a lunchable, a few bite size chocolate bars, a 1.6 quart of iced tea, and a sandwich and it all fits nicely. This little fridge is a workhorse. I havent had any issues with having to wipe up condensation and the door closure is nice and secure (it clicks shut). By far this is the most quality desktop fridge design (size, mechanics, and material) Ive ever used. I did overfill it one day (I stuffed it and forced the door shut) and the consequence 2 days later was a small 1" patch of ice built up on the inside back wall but everything was still cold, the door latch held, and no mechanical issues afterwards. I did defrost it for a few hours and good as new. I have now had this fridge for a year and a half. LOVE it. Is it safe to do so? What kind of clearance is needed around it?** A: The manual tells how many inches is needed for the motor fan. I think 3 inches but consult the manual. **Q: How to make it cold how dose it work** A: It's a little complicated, but I'll try to give you the abridged version. So first you have to get these little coin shaped trays. They come in the box, there's two trays with enough room for 8 coins per tray, but you have to freeze water in them so that you'll eventually have a bunch of these ice coins. So after you have about $40 worth of Ice coins (each ice coin is worth 25¢) you have to quickly insert them in the ice coin slot of the fridge, because if you go too slow the ice coins will melt. And I know what you're thinking, "don't I have to already have a freezer to make the ice coins?" Well, the short answer is yes and no. Yes if you live in warmer climates, but if it's cold enough outside you can place them overnight to freeze (to do this you will need the expansion set of Ice coin tray molds so you can get your $40 worth of Ice coins to use). So the next morning, or whenever you have accumulated enough ice coins, quickly (and carefully) pop them out of the molds and begin inserting your set of Ice coins into the ice coin deposit slot on your new mini fridge. When the mini fridge is satisfied it will immediately start to glow (check the helpful green LED located on the side for confirmation) and the door should now easily open. All you have to do now is place your chosen beverages in the fridge and you are on your way to living the good life. Never again will you be hassled to walk to another room to retrieve a beverage! You can now roll out of bed and pop your favorite brewski, first thing in the morning, while playing hours and hours of whatever Battle Royale you're currently addicted to. Just remember that the fridge will demand more ice coins every 24-48 hours or it will eventually close up and no longer work until you have deposited enough ice coins.
