Luckly though, I like lavendar and had the chance of smelling it beforehand at a vintage thrift store... I took a pic went home and purchase it same day. The next day it was at my door. I wasted no time sparking the wicks and almost immediately the aroma hits. Ugh, so divine! Best part, it's huge, so it lasts longer.. ### ⭐ Where's the lavender??? *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on November 5, 2015* I hate to be the one dissenter here, and I really pride myself on giving accurate, unbiased reviews... but this candle smelled NOTHING like lavender or chamomile to me. I use lavender bath salts and make lavender tea, so I definitely know how to identify the fragrance, and I didn't find a whiff of it in this candle. Instead, I would say it smells like a man's cologne or aftershave. I even overheard people in the stairwell of my apartment comment on the scent while I had it burning: "It smells like Old Spice in here."Unfortunately for me, it is a giant candle so my only option (since I'd hate to just throw it out) is to try and burn it every chance I get so I can finally get rid of it! The three wicks are rather close together, so the wax doesn't even burn all the way to the edge for me. Looks like there will be a bowl-shaped crater when I'm done, but I'm ok with that. I'm not sure if I received a dud, but it's just hard to believe that it could smell so much NOT like lavender.
