You have to cover your head with a shower cap or something plastic under a towel otherwise it doesn't work. The instructions aren't clear. When I first used it nothing happened, so I tried covering my head and voila! I leave it in for about 40 minutes. I retouch every 2-3 weeks. The colour starts to fade after a couple of weeks, so my greys end up looking like copper highlights - I have received quite a few compliments. I like this dye because there is zero damage to my type 4 natural hair. The only thing is that I wish it were cheaper. Honey brown or ( cedar red brown) is hard if not impossible to buy nowadays. If this procduct were available at an affordable price for me it would be a repeat order constantly.
