There is a stain on the front cover. My biggest complaint though is that the "Baby" on the front fell off in less than a year- and we only put it and took it off of the shelf-it's not as though we tossed it around the house or let baby play with it,just the simple act of taking it out and putting it back in order to write in it made the letters fall off.It's a cute book,otherwise. Personally, there were many things that we haven't filled in because this book assumes that you are doing "typical" parenting- for example, using a bottle. I would much rather have other things in place, but then I guess that they go by what most people do.
