Then three quarters fill the can with sulphur, making sure to hold the rag so that it’s in the middle of the can and the sulphur flows around it - a bit like a candle wick. Put can on a brick at bottom of greenhouse, light rag and get out quickly, shut the door. It will look like it’s gone out but it hasn’t. It burns slowly without obvious flame and takes a few hours - don’t go back in to check because sulphur dioxide is very poisonous.
