As far as compression and the soft thick cotton material?** A: These are better than the VS knock out leggings! I love the VS leggings, but not the price. These are definitely the best for the price. And doesn't stretch or get funky when washed. **Q: Will a 3x fit a size 22 plus size?** A: It depends on what kind of fit you are looking for. I am 5'7" tall and 232 pounds. I normally wear 1X or size 18W-20W, but I ordered 3X because I do NOT want tight compression pants that make me feel like I'm wearing a tight girdle. The 3X fits like a dream! Heavenly comfort all day with just a little compression that gives light tummy control and supports my arthritic knees. Wide, extra-high waistband does not slide down when I sit, and POCKETS for my cell phone and keys when I am out and about. These are the leggings I have been searching for! **Q: My hip size is 43". What size do I order? The chart is confusing.** A: Maybe try XL. These run just a tiny bit large but they are SO comfortable. I save that one for colder weather.
