A little crispy and not overdone or underdone. It is easy to liad the bacon slices. All the bacon grease is collected and can be used for cooking other items. Cleaning the cake mats was also an undesirable and messy chore. This was resolved when my vegetarian mother-in-law suggested separating them part-way in the cooking. In my microwave I need to cook the bacon for 10 minutes. Now I cook it for 5 minutes, remove the Cooker from the microwave, use tongs to lift the wheel, run an implement through the bacon strips, put them back in, then put the Cooker back in the microwave for 5 more minutes.
