I purchased this Japanese wood humidifier and was thoroughly disappointed. The wood is extremely fragile, making it difficult to handle without damage. I love the smell of this piece as the water evaporates! It’s subtle but so much fresher than any candle or essential oil. If you use filtered water, that’s the easiest way to keep it clean.

I had figured the large would work for a medium size room. It will require a lot of refilling no matter the room size. I’m guessing at least daily. On the flip side, it does smell and look lovely! I wish I could count on a replacement sail when it fails. As it arrived with a small fold in the center bottom edge of the sail, which will certainly break-off as it’s refilled.
