Review: My Buddies Seem Happy - Got these for installation on a tall and narrow IKEA shelf for my indoor cacti and succulents. Very simple to install, and with the self adhesive pads, placing the on the underside of each shelf was fairly easy (they're very sticky, so make sure you measure or mark where you want them to go). I liked the little snap in hangers that created a gap between the panel and the shelf for heat dissipation. I've had no issues at all with the timer, it has turned on and off as set (I haven't seen what happens after a power outage, but that's a fairly rare occurance so only time will tell). My light measurement app shows a very good lux reading, so I know the output is okay, and my buddies have responded nicely. My only I wish is that each panel were a tad longer and wider, maybe 12" x 6", but overall after four months of use I'm happy with these lights.
