Recently, she had a problem with her knee cap stability to the point that she had to stop playing because of pain in her left knee.We went to the doctor and a Physical therapist. They both said that the outside muscles of her legs were overly developed and also her legs were not aligned properly when she is standing because her feet are pronated, or turned inwards. They prescribed exercise for her to strengthen her less developed inner leg muscles, and they recommended that she wear Orthotic inserts. They said that it does not have to be custom or high Arch inserts, just the over the counter ones will do. They showed me a sample and I went to Amazon and showed them these and they said that it will work for her.She has been using the Orthotics for the past 2 weeks and the difference has been dramatic. Just after a few days, her knee pain went away, and she said she does not get sore feet anymore after playing a round of golf for 5 hours(slow course). Climbing up and down hills and uneven terrain became much easier. She just loves these. I bought several and put them in all her shoes.I took out the built-in insert of her shoes and replaced it with this and they fit perfectly. So far, after playing 15 full rounds of golf, they still look new.PROS:1. Fits perfectly if you remove the built-in inserts of your shoe.2. Relieves tired sore feet by providing lots of support and cushioning.3. Does not smell after a round of Golf.4. Corrects misaligned feet when you wear it so that your muscles will develop evenly and correctly.5. Prevents injury6. Ridiculously inexpensive.7. Simple to install, takes a few seconds. Just remove old insert and slide this in. You may need to use a screwdriver to scrape the old insert if it is stubborn.CONS:1. Have not seen anything at all.SUMMARY:If you are going to buy Orthotics, I would start with these first and wear them for a couple of days to see if it provides you the needed support. The Doctor said that most people should not get orthotics that have very high Arch support as they can be uncomfortable if you do not need it. I've worn them for over a week in my walking shoes with excellent results. They are sturdy and supportive. My feet are happy and comfortable using these orthotics, not sore and tired as would be the case without support. They fit perfectly in my shoes without trimming. I am amazed at how well they work for such a bargain price. Because these inserts are so inexpensive (and they work so well for anyone with plantar fasciitis!), I bought a second set so I don't have to switch between my walking shoes and hiking shoes. I can walk normally again! *by R***2 on Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2019* Achilles tendinitis and suspected plantar fasciitis here. I’ve tried a few different shoes and insoles and these are the best I’ve used! I needed good arch and metatarsal support and these deliver. The first few days I wore them my feet hurt (in a good way), but after several days of getting used to them they are great and my feet no longer hurt at the end of the day or in the mornings when I get up. In fact, I had not been able to walk or stand barefoot at all without pain, but after a few weeks of wearing these I am able to walk barefoot again without feeling that awful sharp tugging, pulling, stretched-too-taut feeling of the plantar fascia. It’s like my feet had a chance to heal with proper arch support. It feels like my stride has improved and my ankles are better aligned. I’m noticing my heel strikes properly when walking instead of the almost toe walking I had been doing since injuring my Achilles’ tendon.
