One end has a thred, that is the only part that needs to come out then the rest of the pin is smooth and you can pull out by hand, it just slides out.. then put it back in the way it came out and your good. They replaced it immediately and I wanted to see how long it lasted before I left a review. I snapped it off my wrist the other day while cleaning. 100% my fault. Great watch.
