Oh I also had to change out the bridge as it wasn't grooved properly (probably a fluke). Saying that I do love this violin and get lots of joy playing it (grade 4 level). Would recommend for the 'sale' price! **Q: Dropped to £92 is it really that good violin that its RRP is over £300?** A: This is a very good item plays well **Q: The top picture shows a violin without fine tuners, the rest of the pictures show fine tuners. Does this violin have fine tuners or not?** A: Because Amazon sorted it out for me there was no need to go to the Trading Standards Department at the Local Authority about the first two empty violin cases, because I was freely able to return the empty cases and on the third attempt the case contained the violin I had ordered, with a single fine tuner which is what I am used to. I don't think the advertised Antoni Symphonique Violin showed four fine tuners in my case and neither did the case contain any. So I had no complaints. If I had a complaint the tone of this instrument was a bit pale so I searched further on Amazon and paid rather more for a violin from an English dealer who described fully his instruments and I am extremely pleased with the tone of this old violin (probably around 100 years old). Violins have to be made properly and played regularly as I learnt from a programme about such things on television where a man at the Royal Academy was busy 'playing in' an old Stradivarius to restore its tone and volume. This violin was presumably bought by a millionaire as an insurance policy and not played for a century. Just like cars and pianos, they seize up if you don't exercise them! I am now in Grade 3. This violin has been a great companion of mine. Everything I said in my original review before was true. If I can get another one of this violin for sub £100 I would go for it. I did have to spend as much on top of it, but I never had to change anything (including the strings) for the past 2 years of learning.The sound is loud and okay enough for a beginner. I didn't use the bow that came with the violin though, the hair seems to be spread thin.[Original review below]It is of acceptable quality but you may need to spend a bit more to get it right.My violin arrived with a bridge that holds the strings too high and stiff. I don't think the bridge was carefully crafted to fit this violin body, I guess a problem with Mass Produced stuff.The Pegs were not crafted well so they don't go deep into the holes when you turn them. They needed some work to fit in the holes better. It seems like worthy for the <£100 I paid while it was on offer.
