Also, what is triangle shaped piece on the peeler?** A: You remove the zest in exactly the same way you would peel any other fruit or vegetable. This obviously will result in large strips of peel. You can then use a sharp knife to cut the strips of zest into fine shreds (julienne). The triangular piece is there to remove the "eyes" from potatoes etc. **Q: Is the peeler apropritate for a left handed user?** A: It is really for right-hand use, but as it's such a good peeler, you could remove the blade/holder and reverse it.
