The ring gets very loose on its hinge, and the actual base attaches via a thick sticker, half of which stays behind after pulling it off the case. I had to drench the back of my case with rubbing alcohol to get the residue off.

The ring becomes loose after about a week. Been through all four and was hoping that one of them would keep the stability so that way I can use it to keep my phone up, but every one ended up just swinging freely after about a week. The only thing positive I can say is that at least the adhesive sticks onto the phone well.
