The area had small scarring. I used some of the surrounding hair, like a comb over, and the nanogen which disquised the problem quite well. If you sprinkle on bare skin and your scalp sweats it can look patchy. It's trial and error, but it's a product I wouldn't be without now. **Q: does this cover grey hair?** A: It covers lighter shade of hair - I have dark brown hair and it covers the hair which are lighter shade - making it all even colour **Q: Does this come off on pillows?** A: Im not sure how people are saying this doesn't come off on pillows unless you go and wash your hair before bed. The colour matches his hair really well and blended fairly easily. It covered the thinner patches straight away and made his hair look thicker without looking fake. You do have to be careful with how much you use because too much can sit heavy and look a bit dusty, so less is definitely better. Once he worked out the right amount, it looked really natural and stayed in place all day.
