Review: Ivy League Tubular Mortice Latches - The pot metal rotating cleat of every tubular mortice latch in our household doors has failed over the last few years and I normally replace them with whatever brand the local hardware store in our town stocks. During lockdown in February 2021, the door latch on our cloakroom door began to bind, so taking this as a portent of imminent failure, instead of going to the hardware store, I just searched desertcart and found this three pack made by trusted manufacturer of door furniture Yale. Fitting was no problem, aside from having to contend with the usual issues of poor quality internal doors and a certain amount of bodged joinery in our 20 year old house. I can do nothing other than recommend these items.

**Q: What is the face plate size (in mm) and the length from the front of the faceplate to the start of the square hole? Thanks!**
A: Do not buy these! The picture is not (necessarily) what you will get. See my 2 star review, and others. Absolute rubbish, go to a DIY store where you can see what you are buying and you can measure it at the same time. Although they appear to be cheap these ones are a waste of money.

**Q: Can you confirm the length from centre of face plate to centre of hole please?**
A: 57 mm from the outer side of face plate to the centre of the hole. From the outer side of face plate to the end of the lock is 77 mm. Face plate is 1.5 mm thick. I was please with the quality these locks. Hope this helps.

**Q: Is this really a Yale product? Should have the name stamped on it!**
A: Never noticed the stamp. Took their word for it.

**Q: Do I need left right handed**
A: The lock can be set in either direction suitable for left or right handed, by turning it through 180 degrees.
