Saved my tent and my camping trip!
I recently used this Tenacious Tape to fix a nasty rip in my tent, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well it holds. The off-white color was a great match for the fabric, making the repair look much cleaner than I expected. Application was incredibly easy—I just peeled and stuck it over the tear. The adhesive is very strong and stayed perfectly in place even after the tent was folded, packed, and set up again. It feels durable and provides a solid, weather-tight seal that I trust to hold up against the elements. It’s a huge relief to have a reliable fix instead of having to replace expensive gear. This is definitely going in my permanent repair kit for all my outdoor equipment. Highly recommended for anyone who needs a quick, permanent fix for rips or holes.

Excellent adhesive!
Wow! This tape has saved my tent! It is very strong. Adhesive grabbed onto the sides of the year and sealed it up. Wasn't enough of it to finish the job but was an excellent product to start the process of sealing the tears

Functional repair to Gortex ski/snowboard pants
I was able to use this tape to repair my Gortex ski/snowboard pants that I love. Over Xmas, I was at a ski area and someone mishandled skis and managed to swipe the edges across the back of my leg and left a 4"-5" gash in my beloved ski/board Northface pants. Doh! Used Gorilla tape for temporary fix (works amazing), but I got this for a long term fix and kinda match the color. This did the job, at least for the one day I've used them since. A couple of things to note: - The tape is thin, but strong. When you take off the backing, you need to be very careful in handling it because it will fold back on itself and be difficult to unstick from itself. Take your time. - For long tears, they recommend using tape on both sides. For my ski/board pants, the tear didn't go through the inner lining, so maneuvering a backing piece of repair tape between the outside layer and inner lining was completely impossible. With constrained access to the back side of the tear, and having wasted some of the thin tape trying to slide a single piece into the backside of the tear, I ended up using a set of four strips (like steri-strip bandages), starting at both ends of the tear and then working toward the middle. I then used a single large piece on the outside, effectuating a strong, two-sided repair. - I used *sharp* scissors to trim/round the corners, per instructions. Dull scissors will just mangle the thin tape. - This tape requires patience and care to make it work (which it will) - Color matching gets in the ballpark, but isn't exact. My wife made me feel better by suggesting my obviously repaired pants make it look like I'm a raucous shredder, who skis the heck out of my gear. I'm in my mid-50s. :-)

outstanding repair tape
Outstanding repair tape. The tape is easy to apply and remains in place. After several washings, tape is perfect. I couldn't wish for a better repair.

Stopped a Canoe from Leaking!
Fun story. I bought this back in 2021 and have used it to repair tent walls, tent floors and rain flys. Works every time. As a bit of a joke, I even used it to seal a hole in an aluminum canoe from a missing rivet when there were no other alternatives. (Don’t worry, the canoe isn’t for people, it’s for firewood, which, of course, you don’t want sitting in water.) Guess what - it’s still holding after all these years.

Did a great job!
The tape is very durable. I got it in Platinum Nylon. I used it to repair holes and tears in the roof of my outdoor bench swing, which is some kind of canvas material. I was very pleased. I later ordered it in Sage Green, and it was much thinner, and flimsy. Although, the Sage Green looked like it would be durable as well, but not as durable as the Platinum Nylon, which is strange to me since they are the same price. When I worked with the Sage Green (outside), it was a bit breezy and that made working with it harder. Since it was thin and flimsy, it kept folding over itself, and I had to un-stick it from itself, which was a pain. Also, it didn't lie nice and flat and smooth like the platinum nylon. It had many wrinkles and buckles, which I didn't like the look of. But I suppose it will do the job of keeping the rips and tears from getting worse. The platinum nylon was thicker and seems more durable. It laid nice and flat and smooth when I laid it down. The platinum nylon is about as thick as duct tape. I wondered if I could just use duct tape and save myself some money (I spent a small fortune repairing this roof). But I read somewhere that duct tape is not meant for outdoor use because it's not waterproof. Anyway, I'm basically pleased with this tape. It could be cheaper though, since you only get one piece per package that is 20 inches by 3 inches. If you don't care about the color, I would definitely get the platinum nylon over the sage green. I can't speak for the thickness and durability of the other colors. Now, I'll see how long it lasts. I will update my review regarding this. UPDATE (10-20-17) Well, it's been 4 months since I repaired my canvas outdoor bench swing roof with this product and it is staying on beautifully! Both the sage green and the platinum. Not even the edges of the repair tape are fraying. And it's been outside in the elements the whole time (which really vary in Chicago). I also used some extra-strength heavy-duty duct tape to finish up repairing a few small tears, not wanting to spend the extra money getting more Tenacious Tape, thinking I could get away with it. Not so, the duct tape came off already, but not the Tenacious tape. I've decided that this product is worth the price. It looks like it will stay on forever. I upgraded to 5 stars.

Does not adhere well to a rough surface
Using this on a rough surface to adhere outside on a step. Failed after a week or two on most of the items I adhered to the steps. Since I used up majority of the product, I’m not able to return it. Need to find a better option for adhering flat metal plates to a rough surface.

Fix your tarp/tent better than ducttape
Top notch tarp repair patches. Work best with an isopropyl preparation…recommend getting some wipes to keep in your kit with these.

Rápida solución
La adquiri para un sleeping bag de pluma que ya está muy usado y por lo tanto las plumas empezaron a perforar la tela al punto de que remendar ya no era posible, así que aplique la cinta en los lugares necesarios y funcionó perfectamente
