Yes, I have the superb Panasonic G9 (Underrated in price and performance) and this combination, along with the Leica 12-60 Panasonic lens is potentially all you would need.Even handheld at a the far distance of 400 people say what professional looking shots!Yes, it is bigger than any M43 lens you've probably owned but it fits well and not too bulky with the G9.I would say the 12-60 and 100-400 are incredible on a Panasonic body, both my GX8 and G9. I have even taken keepers with my aging GX7!About the only two other lens I use with the G9 are the Lumix 25mm 1.4 and the Panasonic 30mm lens.If you have the money the 100-400 is a worthwhile investment. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for my needs but not Excellent... *by D***T on Reviewed in the United States on December 30, 2019* As so many others have written - the lens becomes very stiff to zoom between 300mm and 400mm... Buy this lens if you need the focal length beyond 200mm (400mm in FF) AND that the even more awesome 50-200mm is out of your price range...
