**Q: Does this count as an open container?**
A: It is very much considered an open container in every US State.

**Q: How thin does the liquid have to be, can I use syrup?**
A: It's a small spigot like on a beverage dispenser with a fairly long tube. I think you would have to have a fairly liquid product in it.

**Q: Does it work with soda**
A: For a little while but soda would lose carbonation quickly. Better for punch or in carbonated beverages.

**Q: Can I use it for coffee? Will it remain hot for enough time?**
A: Sure if you want hot coffee strapped to your back. Not too sure how long it will stay hot as it is not insulated. It is more for cold stuff and humor.
