Solid and simple but not thrown together like the cheap ones are. Huge spring for battery contact and solid tail switch. This is where most cheapest fail. Bright snd decent throw. Best part it uses 3aaa or an 18650. not advertised but it will also hold a huge 17700 battery and you can get lots of use from it. No charge port so keep that in mind.
