The only reason I've ever replaced them is because I appear to lose a water bottle every 2.5 years! Really nice vibrant colours that don't fade or chip like an anodised bottle would + it's dishwasher safe with no noticeable degradation to quality. The quality on Nalgene has always been exceptional and lasted many many hiking trips + every survives every day life. 1L is the perfect size for me.
