I've bought these before and since our apartment complex landlord will not clean or have cleaned the ductwork there is a smell . but these work to eliminate that smell and it doesn't end up in my furniture.

I've been using these for years. They work.

I'm using these in my AC unit to help prevent slug build up. I really can't tell if they are working or not. I still get slug and back-up, maybe not as much as I would without them. Can't really tell for sure, but Iuse them regularily in the drain pan. Living in Florida we have A LOT of humidity so any help I can get I'll try.

These tablets are kind of like those "shower steamer" that you place on your shower floor. When they get wet, they slowly dissolve and emits a fresh sent while also cleaning its way down the drain line of your AC. Another suggested use is in the defrost drain pan under your home refrigerator. Most people do not realize that there is a plastic pan that catches condensate water, which evaporates and protects your kitchen floor. Placing one of these in that pan will keep it smelling fresh.
