It's a simple product, but the only one out there of its kind, so it's worth it to be to spend about 1 minute taking down the hardtop and not having to store them. if you're on the fence, do think about it, just do it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Much easier way to enjoy the open air! *by D***F on July 19, 2025* Installed this on my elderly father's brand new JLU because I was concerned that fully removing the roof panels would be too difficult, and that he wouldn't be able to enjoy the open sky the way he wanted. (That and not wanting him to rush and slip if caught in a sudden downpour.) Watched several installation videos on YouTube, took my time, and they turned out perfectly. We use the same VHB tape at the factory where I work, and it's nigh impossible to remove so we've not bothered with any of the bolts. 12,000 miles in everything is still working perfectly, and he has no trouble opening or closing them by himself.
