Allocate your 10 hours of heat across three days of by resealing in the included AirBarrier Pouch, which minimizes air permeability, and can save unused warmer heat for up to 72 hours—use on a jog or while walking the dog and reseal for use the next day. Ignik heat is provided by 98 percent biodegradable natural minerals, combined with oxygen, and the contents of the warmers can be composted after use. Ideal for camping, hiking, hunting, snowshoeing, skiing, dog walking, and other cold weather outings, Ignik’s ultra-efficient warmers are easily activated by removing them from the packaging and exposing them to air. Each multiple-use warmer measures 2 x 3.7 inches, and weighs 45 grams. Ignik 10-Hour High-Performance Hand Warmers are available in packs of 10 pairs, 20 pairs, 30 pairs, 50 pairs, or 80 pairs.

Review: Disappointing - I didn’t find the product worked as advertised. I bought them because they are compostable and packaging is recyclable and also because they were reusable if stored properly. I followed the directions but found they weren’t very warm the second day. I have used three pairs but they aren’t warm enough for me after the first use. I was going to try to return them.
Review: They actually can be reused - I was skeptical that these hand warmers could actually be reused, but if you use them for a few hours and then seal them back into their little baggy, you can re-activate them at least one more time, and I was able to reactivate one set a third time, although they didn't get very hot that time. The first time, they get quite hot. The only thing I don't like is that they take 10-15 minutes to start getting warm, so if you don't take them out prior to, say, heading to a trailhead to walk your dog, your hands are going to be cold for the first 15 minutes. If you do remember, they work well. I like the idea that they're biodegradable, or at least the interior of each packet is. Supposedly they can be composted, so I'll see what happens if I add them to my compost.

Great hand warmers. We used them during an NFL game in Buffalo. Kept us warm through out the day.
