It was still working perfectly when it was boxed away. Every electric blanket I purchased after that has never provided enough heat or lasted very long…usually about 2 years. I switched to a heating pad, which also had a longevity issue but at least was lower in price. This winter a friend sent me an electric wrap but it didn’t last more than a couple of months. Looking around on Amazon I found this electric blanket and I thought my husband would like to try it. It has turned out to give higher heat, is soft and comes with a dual control. So far it has been excellent. I also ordered one for a guest room bed. The color is a soft grey. The blankets are very soft. They are warm with the fleece lining without the electricity turned on.
