But I was unable to find a quality set of socket/plug pairs that were not already assembled. I hoped this would be it. But the quality is well below automotive grade, which is what I was expecting.Furthermore, the socket is not keyed in the same way that the plug is. That is, the plug has a slot down the middle between the two pins, and the socket connector is supposed to have a corresponding tab that matches that slot. But the socket has no key. This is not clearly evident with the product photos. The problem with this is that if you use the connectors in an application where you have to maintain polarity, the connector does not enforce the correct orientation of the plug. You can flip the plug 180 degrees, and it still fits the socket. If the plug has a key, the socket should as well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth it *by C***Y on Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2019* So much nicer than splicing wires together with butt connectors especially when you're connecting to factory wiring works perfect just get the right one. Although you do get a bunch of parts they are not well fitted. As you push the contact pins through their is nothing to keep them straight and/or tight so connecting becomes a big hastle.
