I have a number of cracked tiles, including some with only hairline cracks.** A: I tried it on my hairline cracks and it didn't work. The viscosity is too thick to get in the cracks. Excellent results on chips though **Q: Would this work on a chip and cracked porcelain cream gloss tile ?** A: It works on any tiles. Though chips cover well, a crack would be harder to conceal. You can colour match using combinations of colours and leave it Matt or buff it up to a shine. It's a little trial and error. And what I found is, if you don't like the colour match, use the heating tip to scrape it out and start again. And the filler remains very durable. Ours is in a heavily used utility floor and they are still perfect. Unfortunately it was cracked badly with a large indent. Also it was in the line of sight as you entered the kitchen. So the repair had to be good.I always read the feedback , good and bad, and this product looked as though it could do the job. The instructions on you tube were easy to follow so I placed an order.The delivery was on time which was perfect. It arrives with batteries and the applicator works very well. I had to mix the colours to match the tile which went well. The applicator is easy to use and heats up very quickly.The end result for me is perfect. You are not able to tell it has been repaired and that is surprising as there was a crack across the tile and I thought it would have to be replaced.My only gripe is that I broke off one of the plastic latches on the carry case, this was probably my fault being to heavy handed.Overall very pleased and would recommend this for any difficult tile repair job you may have ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fabulous repair kit for tiles *by K***H on 20 September 2015* With 20-30 chips in a heavily used utility tiled floor that has been down for about 20 years, yet otherwise looks great, it looked like we would need to re-tile the floor. So whilst these kits are not cheap, it was worth the chance. The results are amazing. We've had people trying to find the old chips after we repaired them and they couldn't. Most of the old chips we can't even see ourselves. Use this firms web site to see excellent videos on how to do it. Real straight forward. If we got the colours wrong, you heat it up and scrape it out before starting again. So far seems totally durable too. Highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great result fixing hole, not so good for cracks *by S***I on 9 May 2019* Once I got used to how to vary shading it became easy to make a great colour blend. I'm not sure the product is recommended for cracks and its true the cracks i repaired looked good at first but the product soon fell out. Holes however are easy to do, look great and the products doesnt fall out.
