Comfortable for workout and casual wearing. No rear pocket but can be overlooked for the value. Received two new ones for a Xmas gift and the sizing has changed. The new shorts in XL have a wider waistline. I usually buy XL for the length so this is a bit of a problem because the extra couple waist inches now make a big difference in being too loose around the waist. Were perfect before for me at 6'1" 160 lbs. For someone with a larger waistline, the new cut may be better. I will try the L next time I buy. The photo shows the old XL in black on top of the new XL in Green.
