    Chilling, funny and violent but still a fascinating read

I lived through the years that Steve Sinclair ruled the doors of Blackpool. I must have rubbed shoulders with him on many occasions but my naivety obviously kept me from understanding what he and his associates had to go through to keep me in one piece. The book is like a boulder rolling down a hill - starts slowly with an amateur 'handy' lad, gathers a dark momentum concluding with an honest bio of a true hard legend of our times. Top book.

what a good read.i took this on holiday with me as a book to browse through.what a mistake that was.every time i put it down within a few minutes i had to pick it up again,just to see what else steve and his mates had got up to.it is very serious in places but oh my goodness i did some laughing at some of his expressions.i am glad that i never bumped into him on a lively night out though.anybody who knows steve must feel very safe in his company and i feel he comes across as somebody who is very loyal and would defend his nearest and dearest to the end.as i said a good read an i would recommend it to anyone.

What a book, kept me reading on and on until it was finished, I could relate to one nightclub mentioned in this book, when I was there, never realising so much had gone on there! Thoroughly enjoyed reading it, thank you, Mr. Sinclair!
