**Q: How do you connect this?  Mine isn't putting off a wifi signal.... Not that I can find at least.  Maybe it's faulty**
A: You can try resetting it.
Start with everything plugged in with the light on.
Then unplug and replug the controller 3 times. 
Doesn't need to be rushed. On the final replug, the light will flash indicating that the reset was successful.
You can then try to configure it and hopefully it will work.
