## Description

United Scientific™ UniSafe™ printed wash bottles are made from industrial grade low-density polyethylene with polypropylene closure and venting assembly. They are pre-printed with the Chemical name and formula, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Section 704 Four-color Diamond, health hazards, Chemical Abstract System (CAS) number, and suggested protective clothing and equipment. Each bottle is compliant with GHS and OSHA requirements outlined in Hazard Communication Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200. Intended for use only with solvents compatible with LDPE only.

Review: Great Quality - Product shipped very quickly, and is good quality. I was very happy to find these on desertcart as they're hard to find pre-labelled in NZ. Side note, I was disappointed when I went to download the VAT invoice and they do not have one available, as this was a business purchase.
Review: Good bottles for isopropanol, with a couple things to know - I have some of these for acetone and had a minor issue with them for acetone (they would drip after use), but thought that issue wouldn't be nearly as much of a problem with isopropanol. However that issue doesn't even seem to be affecting these nearly as much when used with isopropanol. Still there are some nuances to know about these bottles. While I will go into details about the nuances, I don't really personally consider them cons, or cons enough to warrant a star when used with isopropanol. Still, feel free to make up your own mind. LDPE bottles should hold up indefinitely to isopropanol. I used a cotton swab soaked in isopropanol to test the ink that is printed on them, even rubbing at it pretty hard, and the ink stayed completely stable. So it withstands the isopropanol very well. There are a couple cosmetic imperfections in the printing on a couple of my bottles. These bottles have a safety vent, which is a small hole in the feed tube. This allows pressure to equalize, so that changes in ambient temperature and barometric pressure don't draw liquid up and out of the tube. This has a side effect of the stream sputtering. As the venting is there to keep it from spilling all over the place while stored, I personally consider this a neutral thing. The tube itself is a little thick, so when the bottle is released, air getting drawn back into the tube does not completely suck all the alcohol back into the bottle. This results in some being left in the tube, where it can potentially drip back out. While I saw this happening with acetone, these bottles filled with isopropanol have not dripped- perhaps the surface tension is different or something. The liquid is there in the tube, but it seems to stay put, unlike the acetone. (NOTE: Any alcohol left in the tube has bypassed the safety vent, and CAN drip out from temperature or pressure changes over time. I have been able to force it out of the tube just by heating the bottle with my hand, which is easy to accidentally do.) Therefore, I recommend that immediately after use, give the bottle a couple very small, light squeezes to force all the alcohol out of the tube. It's a pretty easy habit to get into, and is a very minor inconvenience at worst. I have uploaded a video which shows the sputtering that you should expect with the vent. That very last little spurt in the video is me giving the bottle a light squeeze to clear the tube, so you can see how much alcohol was still left in the tube.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Doesn't shoot straight

QC on the nozzles is not what it should be. The stream is not straight, sprays to the sides a bit and bubbles. The rest of the bottle and nozzle are good quality. The bottles squeeze easily as expected. I can use these for general cleaning where I'm not worried about overspray or splatter.
