A: The seat is 20 1/2 inches wide.  Feom the seat to the top of the chair back is 19 3/4 inches.  Also of note, the chair seat is quite firm.

What a great accent chair. First, I have to say I am so happy to have found this accent chair on here. The green, plaid chair is in high demand. It was hard for me to find this. It was very easy to put together. It is so comfortable and the seat it's self sits far back so you have plenty of room. It is a light, olive/ivy green color. And compliments my gray couch so well.
