The color is true to the product photos. I was looking for a more affordable alternative to the Aiden and Anais silky blankets—which I love because of how soft they are. Since the material was almost the same, I went ahead and ordered these to see if they were soft enough. Here’s my take: they feel VERY similar to the Aiden and Anais blankets but are a little less soft since they are 30% cotton and 70% rayon (vs aiden and anais’s 100% rayon). However, I do think after a handful of washes, they could be just as soft. One complaint I have is that there is a strong factory smell/chemical smell right out of the box. I washed all blankets twice and it still had an odor. Again, I believe this will go away after a few more washes, but it would’ve been nice for it to have washed out in one go. The only other comment I have is that I wish there were more colors available! I’d love to get more, but I like to have a little variety.
