I use the overtone chocolate brown to blend my salt and pepper hair. however, as the brown fades, it turns the gray stripes a really unpleasant yellow - almost greenish - color. I got the dusty magenta as a color correction for this. The untouched grey parts are now a bright silver, the faded brown sections are an ashy blonde and my natural dark brown is richer and less faded.
