Review: Great Quality for Great Price - Got these for my dad for Christmas and he loves them! He loves the different sizes that they came in and said the handles had good grips which he liked since his hands are usually wet and slippery when fileting fish. He also really liked that they came in a carrying case so that he can keep them all together (he kept losing the ones that he had). The blades seem to be pretty sturdy. Dad is very impressed with these, he said they appear to be very high quality. When he tried to guess the price, he guessed high. So basically they're high quality knives for a reasonable price.

**Q: How well does this hold a edge? Also after a couple sharpening does it still hold a edge like if it was new?**
A: Mine has held its razor sharp edge with moderate usage. Can't speak to possible commercial constant use but works great for the casual fisherman. Nice grip feel while using too!

**Q: how does this work on 3 pound catfish?**
A: I only use it for skinning deer and elk, but it is a good knife and I would think it would work well for catfish.

**Q: Is it full tang?**
A: I'll be honest, given the shape of the handle and the design, i do not believe it is full tang.  It might narrow out into the handle area but it is very sturdy.

**Q: is it dishwasher safe?**
A: No problems with mine. I washed it normally but put the sheath in the top rack to be safe.
