Preferably at least one bracket should be into a solid wood stud if possible. These brackets are very thick and heavy duty. They came with three anchor types for solid, hollow wall and masonry. Using four of the hollow wall anchors per bracket should hold a decent amount of weight. You can always use a Hillman hollow wall anchor which claims a 3/16” inch anchor will hold 70 lbs in 1/2” drywall.
