I put in the battery and memory card, and was recording in no time!.There are two memory card slots, one on the bottom that takes the standard SD card, and another on the side that can accept the Micro SD cards, like the ones commonly used in cell phones and tablets. You can use one of the two, and they both work the same way.The menu is easy to use, and intuitive. You just pick what resolution you want to record at, set the clock and you are good to go!The camera has a night mode, in case you need to record something where there is low or no light, and a wifi mode, which looks like it can be setup to be used as a security camera... very cool.It comes with a lens, carrying case, charger and cables... which is really nice. A lot of electronics don't come with chargers, as some companies expect us to use the ones we already have, so its nice when its included.The camcorder itself is super light, fits nicely in my hand, and the screen stays bright even under direct sunlight.There is a case included, which is very nice, no need to buy another one, and you wont have to worry about any damage to the camera when its in your pocket.My minor complaint is the case only fits the camera itself.
