**Q: What is the thickness in millimetres?**
A: Approx 4mm not very deep

**Q: Hi I've not used one before, do you remove the mylar sheets that cover it before using? There are lot of bubbles between the sheet and gel**
A: Yes you remove the sheet, but don't throw it away. When you have finished your art work replace the sheet to protect your plate. Enjoy creating.

**Q: Does this come with a proper plastic case it's onstore like gelli plate?**
A: I bought this item and it just came sandwiched on acetate sheets and in a self sealing bag which is not very sturdy and will at some point break when putting the plate in.  Mine already had some slashes on it...

Too hard, and doesn't perform as well as the thicker, softer variety, which I ended up buying and glad I did. Not worth the price.
