Review: Great DC Jr from IYV - Lightweight, very yellow, with IYV's consistent quality fit and finish, the ILJR-200 delivers the look, feel and sound of a great DC Junior at an entry level price. The single P90 sounds bright and punchy, distorts great, and cleans up nicely with volume and tone dialed down. Neck feels like a slightly wide C profile. Side dots, but no fret markers as shown in the listing, fretwork is very good, crowned and polished with no sprout or sharp ends. Guitar is very light, under 6 lbs, Plays and sounds great after tuning right out of the box, it looks like they use quality strings and get the action right before leaving the factory. IYV builds for Harley Benton and takes pride in their product, if you've wanted to try a good P90 guitar, you won't find a better one near this price with desertcart's return policy.
Review: Perfect bang for buck!! - For the price this Guitar is great! The Tuners are trash, plan to replace them quick. I installed Gold Musicly 3L3R and installed Brown Tuner buttons. I also covered both pickguard and truss rod covers in adhesive leather for fun. Also I replaced all the chrome screws with gold screws. Then lastly I installed some brown speed knobs I sanded to give this an overall brown earthy look. The body is so lite, the neck dive isn’t that bad. The neck is wide and feels great. The P90 is killer, this really is an all in one guitar. The tone is crisp and clear, even distorted all strings ring out evenly. I see where people complain about the bridge posts being bent at an angle. I tune a step down so I’m hoping this relieves that tension! If this happens I’ll follow the other review here where the person installs an extra post and bridge for tension relief. If you have never played a LP JR DC, give this a shot, it’s not a shredder. This is great for a rhythm player or simple leads. I use it for Shoegaze style playing and it’s 10/10 for that!! **UPDATE 6 MONTHS LATER** This guitar is a shred machine!!! Has proven to be my favorite guitar to play and stays in tune really well!! GET IT!!

I could not be more pleased with this guitar. Exceeded my expectation cosmetically and functionally. This guitar is a homerun. Time will tell about longevity. I have purchased two IVY guitars that have been surprisingly good!!
