This morning I did 4 tests back to back because the results were so wildly different. The first test result said 41. I immediately tested another finger and got 119. Then I tested another finger and got 89. And then just to see if it was the strips I tested the last finger with a clean strip and got 104. I have been testing because I’m taking meds that temporarily spike my blood pressure and sugar after each dose. These test results were fasting before meds or breakfast. I’m not sure if this was a bad batch of strips or if there is a problem with the monitor. I’d return the kit except that I’ve opened it and used some. The first time I bought this kit a year or so ago, it worked fine and the results tracked with what my dr and I expected which is why I bought another kit of the same brand. I may buy another batch of strips to see if they’re any better. I’m disappointed because I liked the display and functionality of this model and it’s small enough to be portable and discreet.Updated 24 MarchAfter reading my review, the seller reached out to me offering an apology, a full refund, and a replacement. I am happy to report that the replacement kit is just as accurate and reliable as the first set I bought more than a year ago.
