Can it be used on its own?** A: A caulking gun is required... **Q: How do I re-seal the tip after partial use? Other culks have a removable cap but this one doesn't. Do I need a plastic wrap and a rubber band? Thanks.** A: I wrap the tip with a piece of Glad Press’n Seal. it may dry over a little but just use a needle etc to puncture it. My current tube of caulk has been open 3+ months. Can also use it to prevent paint brushes from drying out. **Q: Is it possible to fill the space between hardwood floor?** A: Yes you could but i wouldn't recommend it space between wall and floor is a expansion void to prevent the floor from buckling or cupping if the gaps are in between the boards it would be better to put glue and push the boards back together latex caulking will be very hard to clean **Q: Can I use this to seal the air leaks around my baseboard radiator? There are huge openings around the pipes** A: I would not use this to fill gaps any wider than about an 1/8" to 3/16" by 1/2" deep. There would be too much shrinkage and instability, especially with the heat of the radiator being right there. I would recommend filling most of the gap with something first then sealing the last small cracks with the caulk. Would oakum work for you?
