I only had it on a few hours as it’s going to take a little while to get used to it. It is very quiet, like white noise in the background. It’s just that having something on you face and air blowing in your nose, it’s a bit strange at the beginning! If you take a look at the image I posted, take a wild guess as to when I was wearing it! I never snored myself awake in that time, or mentally woke up and then had to panic to wake my body up because I’d stopped breathing, and then wait until exhaustion overtook the panic and forced me back to sleep. I only took it off because my cat woke me up and the back of my throat felt dry, so I need to work on getting the humidity setting right. I’ve tried every gadget to stop me snoring or suffocating, I was reluctant to pay out so much for a machine I didn’t know would work, but I’m glad I did. Even with just having those few hours peaceful sleep I feel so much more energised this morning instead of groggy and not wanting to get up! I’ll up the humidity setting tonight and give it another go. It’s such a relief to know that there is something that is actually going to help instead of having to get stuck in a loop with a GP “You need to lose weight”, “But this still happens when I’m a few stone lighter?”, “Then lose more weight.”, “The only way to drop even more weight from what I was would be to stave myself.” (I know because I was trying and heading towards an eating disorder) “Oh well, crack on”.
