We have a 16 foot above ground pool and this is pretty small in it. The unit would definitely be more beneficial in a smaller pond, birdbath, etc.Pros1) Colorful at night! The colors are vibrant and change enough to provide a pretty scene.2) Stays on pretty far into the night so long as it had enough sun during the day.3) Many different spray options4) Floats well without the arms protruded, even in heavy splashing.Cons1) This is my second unit. The first unit stopped charging and working after one day in the water (full sun all day for multiple days) and was returned, so I'm not sure how long this replacement unit will last. So far it's been going strong for 3 days, and that's with more clouds than sun.2) Pump isn't as strong as the pictures made it appear. It pumps the water a few inches from the base, but not as high as the pictures portray, or as high as other reviews have stated.
