To be honest our Beco bamboo dog bowl still has plenty of life left in it, but it is looking a bit tired/tatty. It's years old so not complaining! Decided to buy another Beco bowl as we like the design and its durability. An almost identical replacement, although the new version has a non slip base and now has a cut away curve at the base which makes it easier to pick up from the floor. Love these Beco bamboo bowls, wouldn't use anything else!UPDATE! this new bowl has split at the base. I'm really disappointed. Evidently not the same great quality as our original bowl. I won't be buying this brand again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unusual item. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 22 August 2013* Bought this bowl as our old plastic bowl was dropped and split, I thought that I would go for this as it is made of materials that are generally considered as waste products. It is a very sturdy bowl and reminds me of a melamine type of plastic,the same sort of feel and toughness. I thought that it was a good price and a nice colour,it is 21cm across and 5 and a half cm deep at its shortest point. It does say on the care label that if it is treated well that it should last for years but I am not sure what they mean by that,whether the washing of the bowl slowly deteriorates the surface I am not sure,only time will tell. Easy to clean, as young dog is raw fed and I have found over the years that some dog bowls go slimy but this never does.
