Solidly made and finished have used it for getting some good tension into support wires I have created for tomatoes, peas, beans and cucumbers. Don't know if the growing plants will appreciate them yet, but I found them very good whilst setting up my vegetable supports. **Q: Are these suitable for holding up a suspended ceiling panel in a bathroom? What weight can, say, 4 carry?** A: These are mainly used for tensioning wires between two fixed points. I don’t quite get why you would need to know what weight they hold for a suspended ceiling!! Unless it made of concrete!! Four of them would easily take the weight of a suspended bathroom ceiling. It wouldn’t be very stable as it would be just hanging/dangling from the fixtures and not fixed so it would move when touched, unless it is fixed on the sides and these are just added support for the centre area but where ever these would be placed the ceiling would still flex or move. I would also guess they could comfortably hold 50kg each. Hope this helps. **Q: Is this 304 grade stainless steel? It does not say anywhere in the description** A: I’m not sure what grade they are!! but mine have been used for just over a year now, they’ve had rain, hail, snow hot and cold temperatures in that time and still look as they did when I put them up.
